Donny Lewis – Manager
Donny has been Manager at Wastech Services Central Otago since 2016. He brings over twelve years of experience in waste management to his role and in the past has worked with HW Richardson Group and EnviroSouth.
He enjoys the challenge of building a business in Central Otago, getting out there and doing it, with a good solid team all working together to face challenges head-on. The number one for Donny is health and safety for his staff. Seeing staff heading home after a safe day’s work is always top of mind. He believes in setting a high standard when it comes to health and safety and sticking to those standards across the business.
Wastech Services have good quality gear, which certainly makes the job easier and improves performance for staff, along with the outcome for customers. One of the challenges Wastech Services faces is meeting demand and servicing clients from Queenstown to Alexandra, and everyone in between. Donny likes to see new customers coming in and for every job to be completed to a high standard. At the end of the day, it’s all about offering a quality service at affordable prices and having happy repeat customers.
Outside of work, you’ll find Donny enjoying all that Central Otago and Twizel have to offer. On the weekends you might find Donny out hunting; mostly deer and duck, fishing for salmon and trout or spending time with his family and a good glass of Central Otago red wine.
